About Paul Hastings

As you are considering me as your EFT therapist, you need to know that I have the necessary skills and abilities to help you to get the results you want and deserve, this page is to give you some background information about my life, interests, and experience.

This approach is not common with most therapists, however I feel that you like me would want some idea as to whom you will be working with. My interest in our mind and body and our bodies energy systems started at an early age.

From the age of eight I started to read and study mind systems and around this time started to practice hypnotism at school. Therefore, it would be true to say I have been hypnotising people since the age of eight.

I qualified as a Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist in 1991 with Neil French and The International Association of Hypnoanalysts and started my private practice in this year. The same year I was fortunate enough to be taken under the wing of internationally acclaimed hypnotherapist Duncan McColl of Pilgrim Tapes. Who has continued to teach and guide me.

I have developed a reputation for assisting other hypnotherapists and working with the more unusually and difficult cases we experience. I continue to practice and develop my hypnotic skills on a daily basis.

In 1997, I became a Neuro Linguistic Programmer and later became a Certified Trainer for Dr Richard Bandler. I have been fortunate to learn from some of the best trainers and practitioners of hypnosis and Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) I have also trained with the following.

EFT Training
I have been officially trained as an Emotional Freedom Therapist to level two by Master Practitioner Karl Dawson. Karl runs an approved training centre approved by Gary Craig the creator of EFT. Karl is a great trainer and EFT guy.

Martial Arts I have been training in the martial arts since the age of four. I started to teach martial arts in 1974 while still at school. My brother David and I have been teaching Hapkido in the Warwickshire area since 1982. We have taught Hapkido to thousands of students, and have conducted courses for children, disabled people, and security personal.

Yoga is another passion practiced from an early age. My grandfather learnt yoga while serving in India. I still practices hatha yoga and have studied the works of Moshe Feldenkrais and acupuncture.

I spent two years (1983-1984) at the Collage of Traditional Chinese Acupuncture in Leamington Spa Warwickshire.This was in order to better understand martial arts. I had asked my master "how can I become as good as you" he said "learn anatomy and acupuncture" So I did.

During this time, I began my study of formal energy medicine, which has continued to this day.

Around 1998 whilst on an advanced hypnosis and NLP training course in the Bahamas, I met Dr Jack La Tourrette who introduced me to EFT and energy medicine as practiced by Donna Eden, this intern lead to a passion in the healing arts of Huna. I am also a student of the Silva methods of mind development and Huna.

Other Interests I am a member of The Institute of Advanced Motorists and a ROSPA Silver Driver. I also hold a private pilots license, my current airplane is an AX200. If you would like to know anything else please contact me.
